When I drive down the street, I no longer see houses. I see prison cells. Large, furnished prison cells where you own the lock and key, but you can never leave the prison. You have your own little space where you can have everything to yourself and keep all the special things you smuggle in, and the prison guards don't care, so long as you stay within the walls and you behave.
It's the ones who misbehave that get their big cells taken away, and are thrown into smaller cells, in a smaller prison, with all the other low-lives who decided to act outside the law.
But how can this be a prison if there is no walls? This IS a prison with no walls. There is no need for walls. The entire world is a prison. Every day you get up at the exact same time every weekday, go to a specific place to serve humanity, then you go back to your cell and sleep away and do it all the next morning. How is it you earn freedom from this prison? You don't. No matter how you look at it, you end up dying in the prison, whether it's old age, or a stab wound. That's the only way out. And who knows, maybe that is just a way in from one prison to another.
