Character Origin

An unknown necromancer lurked in the background when the young girl walked to her interview at the library of her dreams. Suddenly, she was violently jolted from her human form and simply died on the spot. Her soul had been ripped from her body by an obscure necromancer and cast into the Umbra as a wraith. The necromancer himself was a hideous man that thirsted for souls so that he may raise an army with these slaves. She was one of his slaves in the army and was controlled by his rule as he campaigned for greater power in that realm. His grotesque features and ravenous ways was not appealing in the slightest form for Callisto, however, she realized in that brigade that it was his possessions that truly made any difference to the people. He owned a vast union of corpse slaves that continued to grow as he lined up the many souls he stole. She was disgusted by his reign and his arrogance, that she was happy to see the day his luck ran out.

In the midst of the campaign, a werewolf of the Wendigo tribe, shaman and tribe elder, happened upon the necromancer and a blood rage commenced between the two powerful creatures. The necromancer was finally defeated by this historic werewolf as the werewolf ripped the necromancer, shredding his putrid being into bits. The great victor then made a short miracle occur as he quickly restored some of the souls to the corpses that lay in front of him. In the end, Callisto was one of the few lucky souls that eventually regained their past form as a human. However, this new found humanity was short lived for two vampires hidden within the corpses attacked the werewolf and killed him before he could release all the souls to their rightful bodies. Surprisingly, the two vampires took note of the disoriented girl and devilishly smiled as they took her in for the Embrace. Morphing into a vampire, Callisto was then automatically sealed into the coven to which the other two vampires originated from. Lasombra.
