These are mysterious creatures who's true nature is still yet unknown. A few things are for certain, they are children of the forest and will do anything to protect the planet. It is possible that their true nature is the spirit of trees in animal form. In order to become a Wendigo, one must fall into 2 of the following possibilities:

As far as their powers go, it's pretty unknown at this point. For the most part we can only go by eyewitness accounts. Wendigo are not subject to any normal weaknesses except fire which seems to harm them immensely. One report indicated that a Wendigo was instantly killed by a lightning strike. If they are in a fog or mist, they exist as one with the fog and can move anywhere inside of it without sound. They can talk with trees to gain information on what they know or have sensed. Some Wendigo reports indicate that they can absorb themselves into the ground or wood (2 FP) and stay there or move about freely within the ground and wood coming up from anywhere.
It is known that they regain their focus by drinking freshwater.
Wendigo are of the wood element which is a mixture of earth and water. They thrive in the earth and water environments and can use them together to both create and manipulate wood. They must spend 1 focus to manipulate water or earth and 2 focus for wood. (Going underground takes 2 FP)
They are weak to burning fire and strikes of lightning or even really immense electricity.
- Cannibalized Werewolf/Vampire (whichever bit you)
- Hearing the Wendigo call to you as you dream
- Being bitten by a Wendigo and surviving
- Diablerized a Vampire*
